Urquart Castle
One of Scotland’s most dramatic historic sites, Urquhart Castle sits on the banks of Loch Ness just a short drive from Roslyn House. Wander through the ruins of this once-mighty fortress, climb the Grant Tower for sweeping views across the loch, and learn about centuries of Highland history in the visitor centre. It’s easily one of the most iconic stops on any Loch Ness itinerary.
